The entire IAR family rejoices with profound gratitude to Almighty Allah as we joyfully announce the reappointment of Professor Ado Yusuf as the Executive Director of the Institute for Agricultural Research (IAR), Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
This reappointment, approved by the Vice Chancellor of Ahmadu Bello University, Professor Ahmed Adamu, is a well-deserved recognition of Professor Ado Yusuf’s visionary leadership, tireless commitment, and remarkable achievements in advancing agricultural research, innovation, and development across Nigeria and beyond.
Under his stewardship, IAR has witnessed tremendous progress — from groundbreaking research outputs to strengthened collaborations, institutional development, impactful outreach to farmers, and enhanced institutional visibility.
