Call Made to Kaduna State Government to Repair Kagarko–Hure Road
By Idris Umar, Kaduna
The Chairman of the youth wing of the Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore organization in North-West Nigeria, Alhaji Aminu Jibirin, has called on the Kaduna State Government to urgently repair the Kagarko to Hure road, which has long been in a state of disrepair.
Alhaji Aminu Jibirin made this appeal during an inspection visit to the area with some of his colleagues last week, where they witnessed firsthand the difficulties faced by residents—especially during the rainy season.
According to him, “The Kaduna State Government needs to urgently consider fixing this road because over 30,000 people rely on it daily, and they play a vital role in the political and economic development of the state.”
The youth leader further explained that the lack of a good road puts the residents in serious trouble, especially when there’s a need to transport sick people to hospitals or to move goods and farm produce.
He appealed to Governor Uba Sani and other relevant stakeholders at both state and federal levels to intervene and ensure the road is repaired, in order to rescue the people of the area from their suffering.
An investigation by our correspondent revealed that the rainy season is especially difficult for the residents, as the road becomes almost unusable, subjecting them to extreme hardship.
Finally, Alhaji Aminu Jibirin expressed appreciation to traditional rulers, religious leaders, community heads, and the Kagarko local government authorities for their commitment to maintaining peace and order in the region and the state at large.
