Governor Radda boosts ABU Endowment Foundation with N20 million
The Katsina State Government has donated the sum of N20 million to Ahmadu Bello University Endowment Foundation.
His Excellency, Governor Malam Dikko Umar Radda, PhD, CON, graciously approved the donation to support the Foundation in achieving its objectives and fostering ABU's growth and development.
This was contained in a letter to the Vice-Chancellor, Ahmadu Bello University, Prof Adamu Ahmed, by Director, Administration and Supplies, Katsina State Ministry of Higher, Technical and Vocational Education, Dikko Bala K/Sauri, on behalf of the Hon. Commissioner.
Governor Radda, according to the Ministry, reaffirmed his commitment to supporting his alma mater and looked forward to continuous collaboration.
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof Adamu Ahmed, who acknowledged with immense gratitude the receipt of the N20 million donation, described Governor Radda as a proud and distinguished alumnus of the university.
Prof Ahmed also thanked the governor and Katsina State most sincerely for the continuous support for ABU.
The Vice-Chancellor assured that only the proceeds of the Foundation's investments were to be deployed for the university's growth and overall development.
