The Chairman of Sabon Gari Local Government and also the Chairman of the Association of Local Government Chairmen in Kaduna State (ALGON), Honourable Sheikh Muhammad Jamilu Abubakar Albani Samaru, has provided financial support to postgraduate (Master’s) students from Sabon Gari Local Government to help them continue their studies. The total amount of the donation is ₦1.2 million, which was shared among 12 students.

The event was held at the main conference hall of the Local Government Secretariat in Dogarawa. Honourable Jamilu Abubakar stated that the support followed a thorough assessment aimed at boosting education in Sabon Gari and Kaduna State as a whole.

He emphasized that the administration of Governor Uba Sani is one that values compassion and justice. This, he said, motivated them to take the step of supporting the students to ease the burden of the current economic hardships. According to him, ₦1 million was allocated as direct financial support to the students.

After receiving the support, the students' leader, Comrade Jibirin Salihi, expressed his gratitude and pledged that they would continue to support the APC party at all levels, in appreciation of the care and attention they’ve received from the Kaduna State government under Governor Senator Uba Sani and the Sabon Gari Local Government Chairman, Honourable Abubakar Jamilu Albani.

The event was attended by several notable guests, including the Vice Chairman of the local government, Hon. Kamilu Abdul-Kareem, and Hon. Sani Jibirin Chikaji, among other stakeholders.

In conclusion, religious leaders and scholars offered prayers and blessings for the local government chairman, acknowledging his commitment and efforts in promoting development in Sabon Gari.
