Fifteen Students of Christ College  Zaria, Kabama Layout, Kaduna State have  achieved an impressive scores in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) scored above 300 out of a possible 400 marks.

The students outstanding performance was a testimony of their hard work and dedication to their studies which shows how Abidoye Jesulayom scored 371points despite low performance by candidates at the 2025 UTME.

This achievement the College teachers and  students garnered congratulations and praise from citizens, who commended their exceptional performance and wished them greater success in their academic pursuits.

Following this landmark achievement's parents and the Collage management  should reward this over anything to motivate other teachers and students.

What is important is that celebration of the success of learners is done effectively as some victorious students like Adamu Joseph who scored 334  and Egwuma Caleb who scored 343 points respectively demonstrated.

When done effectively, it gives teachers and  students the drive and motivation to continue doing great work.

Effective praise/positive reinforcement is the driver behind students motivation, self-esteem, and creating a positive classroom culture.

We need to move away from the thinking that achievement can be based on either ability, others around us or plain good luck.

Effort is significant too. Celebration of achievement is important, and it is also very important to focus on hard work and effort.

Rewarding effort will motivate teachers and students, it will help them to see the value of working hard and as well will help them in putting more effort into their studies, which in turn, will improve their outcomes and growth.
