Equip Your Home With First Aid Fire Extinguisher For Emergency -- FFS Zaria

The Federal Fire Service Zaria office has advised households to adopt good housekeeping practice by equipping their home with first-aid fire extinguishers in order to suppress fires during emergencies and prevent it from escalating.
In a Press statement issued by the Public Relation Officer Zaria Area Command ASF Umar D. Adamu said, on
24th January 2025, a fire was reported at the residence of Mal. Yakubu Umar, located along Unity Road, Hayin Malam, Zango Quarters, Sabon Gari Local Government, Kaduna State.
The personnel of the Federal Fire Service, Zaria Area Command, led by ASF Sale Umar, responded swiftly, minimizing losses to the barest level.
The incident, which occurred at approximately 00:29 hours, was successfully extinguished by 14:48 hours after an active firefighting operation that affected the three-bedroom flat apartment building.
The statements said no casualties were recorded at the scene of the incident.
The cause of the fire is under investigation at the time of this report according to the statements.
