By-Election: PDP Flags Off Campaign for Hon. Mu’azu in Bomo Town

In a major political event held in Bomo town, Sabon Gari Local Government Area of Kaduna State, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) officially presented the party flag to its candidate in the forthcoming state assembly by-election, Hon. Mu’azu Mai Gidan Ruwa, who is contesting to represent the Basawa Constituency.

The event was filled with excitement and celebration, attracting thousands of supporters, party faithful, and leaders from across the local government. It doubled as a campaign rally to declare full support for the candidate who has consistently pledged to stand firm in defending the interests of his people.

Supporters thronged the streets holding PDP flags, singing songs of unity and chanting slogans, showing strong morale and readiness ahead of the election.

In his speech, Hon. Mu’azu Mai Gidan Ruwa expressed deep gratitude to the people and reiterated his commitment to bringing genuine change that would improve lives, especially in areas such as education, healthcare, and youth and women empowerment.
He said:

> “I am here today not just to represent you, but to offer honest and trustworthy representation that will restore the dignity of Basawa.”



The flag-off event was attended by top PDP figures, including Hon. Bashir Sakadadi, the PDP chairman of Sabon Gari Local Government, and the party chairman of Bomo Ward, Hon. Bashir Matawalle, among other party stakeholders.

All speakers delivered inspiring messages, urging party members to remain united and committed to ensuring victory at the polls.

The event was peaceful and concluded successfully, a clear sign that the PDP is well-prepared and confident ahead of the upcoming by-election.
