Ramadhan: Speaker's Wife, HE Hajiya Fatima Tajuddeen Abbas Distributes Bag of Rice to over 4,094 women and cash palliative each under her foundation
Wife of the speaker House of representatives Hajiya Fatima Tajuddden Abbas, PhD (Tauraruwan Iyan Zazzau) has Flagged off the distribution of food items and cash palliative to women across all the 23 local government areas of Kaduna State.
The gesture aims to cater the basic needs of women particularly during this year's month of Ramadan Fasting.
Hajiya Fatima Tajuddden Abbas while launching the distribution exercise at the Emir of Zazzau palace, said the move is in line with the renewed hope Agenda which focus on improving the living standard of women through empowerment to be self reliant.
The wife of the speaker, encouraged women to always engage themselves in meaningful ventures to become integral part of national development and even assist in the running of affairs in their communities.
Fatima Abbas Tajuddden assured the people of the State of her husband Mr Speaker's commitment towards providing the dividends of democracy to their door steps through transformative initiatives and urged them to continue to rally round the present administration to benefit more from its laudable empowerment programmes.
Over four thousand women were given a bag of rice and cash palliative each under the wife of the speaker's Foundation.
Women from all the 23 local government of Kaduna State that benefited from the palliative distribution, expressed delight with the forsight of the wife of the speaker Hajiya Fatima Abbas Tajuddden for extending her hand of charity to women especial at this time of Ramadan fasting which according to them is the first of it kind and promised to continue praying for her and her husband to succeed. She also donated solar 40 solar to the Zaria federal constituency.
