By-Election: I’m Impressed with the Turnout of APC Members, We Hope to Win – Says Shatiman Basawa

As the by-election for the State Assembly member representing the Basawa constituency in Sabon Gari Local Government Area of Kaduna State began on Saturday, a prominent figure in the APC party in Sabon Gari LGA commended the members of their party.

Shatiman Basawa, Alhaji Sa'eed A. Dada, a close associate of the Chairman of Sabon Gari LGA, Hon. Jamilu Albani, expressed his satisfaction with how APC members came out in large numbers to vote for their party in the ongoing by-election.

He made these remarks during an interview with journalists while voting at the polling unit he represents in the town of Basawa.

According to him, they are hopeful that their party, the APC, will emerge victorious:

 “We are hopeful that our party will win this election, God willing,” he said.

“This election is being conducted peacefully without any violence, and the people have come out in large numbers to cast their votes,” he confirmed.

“Our hope is that APC will be victorious; even if voting stops now, we are confident we’ll win,” he added.
