Zazzau Emirate Council Clarifies, Disassociate Its Self From Malicious Correspondence

Zazzau Emirate Council has feels compelled to address a Letter circulating on various Social Media Platforms falsely claims that His Highness the Emir of Zazzau, as a Patron of the "AREWA YOUTH ASSEMBLY FOR GOOD LEADERSHIP (AYAGL)," is involved in a protest regarding the Reversal of the Suspension of Senator Natasha Akpoti.
This was contained in a statement Signed by Yusuf Abubakar Hayat,
Secretary Zazzau Emirate Council said,
His Highness the Emir of Zazzau is a revered Traditional Leader and does not participate in political affairs.
The Emirate does not endorse or aligned itself with the activities or intentions of any political organization or movement.
According to the statements zhe Letter in question is deemed malicious and is an attempt to create unnecessary anxiety among the public and instigate discord within the community and the nation.
The statements further stated that Zazzau Emirate reserves the right to take appropriate actions against individuals or groups attempting to involve the Emirate in political matters and misrepresent its position.
Zazzau emirate Council implore members of the public to treat the aforementioned Letter with skepticism and refrain from spreading misinformation.
The emirate commitment to maintained peace and fostering unity within its communities remains steadfast.
