Shehu Idris College Of Health Matriculated 1012 New Students

Shehu Idris College of Health Sciences and Technology, Kaduna States University Makarfi Campus have matriculated 1012 newly admitted students for the 2024/2025  session.

Speaking at the ceremony the Vice Chancellor of the University Professor Abdullahi Musa advised students to focus on their studies and obey the rule and regulations.

 Professor Abdullahi Musa, who was represented by Professor Yusha'u Ibrahim Ango, Deputy Vice Chancellor Academics  stressed the needs for students to be serious with their studies and to distanced themselves social vices at the college.

Earlier in his address the Provost of the Shehu Idris College of Health sciences and Technology Makarfi, Malam Shehu Danlami, Said over one thousand and twelve students were admitted in 2024-2025 academic session in different courses.

The Provost urged the academic staff and non academic staff to be committed to theor respective assigned duties.

 Malam Danlami called on the newly admitted students to stay away from  joining illegal clubs and associations in and outside the Campus as well to desist from drug abuse, secret society, humour sexual, Lesbianism.

Danlami, lamented that the College has qualified Professional Lecturers who have vast experiences and expertise also urged Stakeholders to add more manpower.

 The Provost appealed for the renovation of student Hostels and some parts of the College to address some issues bedevelling the smooth running the affairs of the College for effective service delivery.

In his remarks  Makarfi Local Government Council Chairman Hon Garba Mohammed Sabon Gari, expressed satisfactions that Kaduna State Governor Senator Uba Sani, administration is prioritize on providing credible education at grassroots to tertiary institutions, security, Healthcare services, agriculture, human development, civil servants welfare, rural infrastructure, capital projects in the state.

He said, the council under his leadership is committed in partnering with educational institutions to support education.

In his remark the Kaduna State House of Assembly representing Zaria City Constituency, Barrister Mahmoud Bola Ige, said, Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani, is working tirelessly to promote education sector, rural transformation and other developmental projects across the state.

In his royal advise the District head of Gubuchi Dr. Bello Lawal, expressed his delight to stakeholders for gesture.

 He called on Community leaders to support Government efforts to achieved the set desired at all level.
