Speaker Abbas To Sponsor Hundreds of Zaria and Zone One of Kaduna State Indigenes To Study at NILEST
The Speaker House of Representatives Rt. Hon. Tajuddeen Abbas, Ph.D, GCON is set to sponsor Hundreds of Zaria Local Government indigenes and those of other local governments within zone one geopolitical zone of Kaduna State comprising of Sabongari, Soba, Ikara, Kubau, Kudan, Lere, and Makarfi areas of Kaduna State to study at the Nigerian Institute of Leather and Science Technology, (NILEST).
While Confirming the development, the Director General and Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Institute of Leather and Science Technology (NILEST), Dr. Auwal Mustapha Imam stated this today in Abuja, "The Speaker intends to sponsor all the students from the aforementioned local government areas to study leather and leather products science and technology courses at the institute."
The DG added, " in addition, the speaker would pay for full scholarship for the studens including tuition fees and other charges, he also promised to take care of Accommodation/Transportation and Terminal Stipends for Feeding and other related matters to the candidates." The DG therefore urge candidates that'd be writing JAMB this year to choose NILEST as their first choice during JAMB registration.
